I wish you all a nice, relaxed 3rd Advent. Actually, I wanted to spend the day today at the Cologne Christmas markets, but in the rainy weather, I prefer to make myself comfortable indoors and back healthy Low Carb biscuits for you:)
Baking low carb biscuits
I've always got nuts, seeds and superfoods in my house. When the spontaneous desire for something sweet comes along, I like to experiment with all sorts of ingredients. Of course something can go wrong. But the recipe for the healthy low carb biscuits is absolutely safe - even for me as a back muffle:)
Biscuits with Superfoods
Today, mulberries and goji berries ensure a light sweetness with the biscuits. Do you already know the two superfood berries?
The Mulberry is considered an antiaging berry and looks like blackberry. To taste, the white, dried mulberry that I used for the low carb biscuits is slightly sweet with a subtle vanilla flavor. Mulberries contain important vitamin C, antioxidants, fiber, proteins, calcium and even 5x more iron like spinach.
The Gojibeere which I use in dried form is reminiscent of raisins or cranberries. The small berry is one of the most popular ingredients for superfood snacks. The Superberry contains 20 vitamins and minerals, all amino acids, fiber and antioxidants. It contains more vitamin C than oranges and more beta-carotene than carrots.
In addition to the superfood berries, the healthy low carb biscuits consist of sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and almond sticks.Cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
